From the point of view of a customer or individual user, Friendorb provides another avenue to tell the world about yourself. The proliferation of Web 2.0 provides many new ways to keep in touch, and Friendorb wants to provide you a new way of doing do.

Is this site meant to replace other sharing and networking tools? No. With the advent of 'Web 2.0' tools and technologies, the amount of sharing and collaboration taking place over the internet has increased dramatically and will continue to do so. Thus, we expect this site to further aid users in sharing information, not replace others. In fact, we plan to significantly enhance the integration of other websites into our own in the near future.

Do I have to use all the tools I have available? Of course not. While the shopping cart feature is designed for merchants, others such as media sharing, bookmark sharing, and blog are intended for use by anyone. Even if you don't keep, say, a blog, you can use it to store articles, news, and other items. Based on the settings you choose in your account control panel, your profile will adjust its appearance appropriately.

Do you need personal information such as credit card numbers or password from other websites? No! The only password you should ever give to us is the password to your account. All merchant activities are handled through Google Checkout, while integration with other websites is handled through each individual website. While account names and/or user names for those websites are publicly viewable and are required to use certain features, you should enter your account passwords ONLY on those sites. Remember, we will never ask for personal financial or account information.
